I do not have to respect your religion or your beliefs. I can respect you as a person, and your right to freedom of speech and your beliefs. But, that doesn't mean I have to remain silent or pat you on the back when you choose to expose ridiculous beliefs, particularly ones that interfere with my society and my life. some people think most religous people think they're better then other people because of what they believe and that they're really judgemental of others.
Theres also that stupid belief some people have that religious people are "ignorant" but I guess thats just more insults ffft.
either way it'd just be easier for both non religious AND religious people if they just realize that we all have different values and beliefs and to respect that instead of going around thinking oh I'm right they're wrong lets be an asshole about it.
