I'm guessing its lips but it reminds me of the mouth of a carnivorous plant. Very cool shot! I LOVE to see B/W macro,just don't see enough!

I see from your gallery that you like the black and white macro shots.. they just give more emphasis to form dont they.. give it more of an abstract image...

Yes black and white reveals the texture and form of the object. Colour can blind one to its true form.
