After reading The Vampire Armand, I realized that the movie version of Armand is way more like Santino. Well, ol' Antonio did a good job playing Santino...

Haha so funny, very true. I think Antonio did perfectly except for you know... the matching the description part!

Armand is the only vampire that I forced myself to imagine different than the movie
Hard work, but it paid off.

Oh, is Armand really Russian? I didn't noticed this in the book.

I had watched this movie before reading the books, so I was like "Wtf?" when I read his description in the story. Its hard for me to picture him the way he is described because I saw this version first. But I love Armand and all of his faces!

I read the book before I saw this film. However, because of few pictures I imagined Armand as Antonio Banderas while reading through Interview with a Vampire. But when he appears in the Vampire Lestat I don't have any problems to see him as Anne wrote him. It's kind of strange but I can live with it. XD

I've only seen Interview with the Vampire and like one scene from Queen of the Dammed. Blood and Gold was the one book where I could see him clearly as Anne intended it. Marius just describes him so many tines, its hard not too.

I love Antonio so much, BUT! I have to say that Matthew Newton in Queen of the Damned was better as Armand than him.

I have to agree with you also in some way. Damn, am I in love (or do I just like Armand as a character so much that I don't care who plays it) with all of those 3 versions of him? XD

I liked his version of Armand too. It was something different and unexpected. I prefer both versions - Armand from books and Armand from this movie. (:
