Thanks for the quick response. I was starting to think that after scouring more of your gallery where you mentioned octane in a lot of them. I can totally tell the difference between your lux and octane renders. Like a night and day difference with octane being the clear winner.

I'm sure there are ways to accomplish similar results, but I don't know why one would want to do that.
Also, Octane is a few orders of magnitude faster. Β Where LuxRender would take 24-48+ hours to complete a few hundred samples per pixel,
Octane would take 2-9+ hours to complete ~4,000 samples per pixel.
This seems to be changing, with LuxRender 1.5, though not by enough to come close to Octane.

Wow. if the shine on her eyes, pants, and hand were just a tiny bit less, this would be the closest I've seen to cg appearing real. Very, very nice job.
