1,559 foot Bishop Peak in the high contrast of a passing hail storm and lush green landscape of a central coast spring. I took a few minutes of shelter in the car as pea-sized hail fell all around me, bouncing off the dirt road and clanging off the tin roofs nearby. Passive Sheep nearby graze in the newly grown spring grass and the sun peeks in and out of the passing storm clouds giving me a nice view of the extinct volcanic plug.
