Description Took another whack at my MerGirl concept. Used a tutorial to bang out something a little more 3D lookin'. She doesn't have any boobies, but she's a fish so that makes perfect sense, right? My mermaid is totally scientifically sound!

Gimme some feedback!

Cool design. I like the colours and the lighting. The shape of her face is nice. I also like the idea of the turtle shell shield.

I love the design you chose for her! Really neat. I also love the colors and tones you used: I LOVE the gold highlights, their a perfect touch. Although, I have to say I don't love the pink in the face. But that's just me. Besides, I really have no room to comment, since I can't even work out how you people do this stuff! I guess I just don't understand the concept of digital art very well.

Oooh -- I like how the scales look and reflect the light. I also dig her ear/gills! and her BUFF shoulders (jealoussss.)

What tutorial did you use?

Interesting take on the basic mermaid concept. I really like the fin on he back. Seahorses have a similar fin that they use to swim upright, so it looks like she does something sort of similar.

Scientific indeed I love how you did the shading, I could never shade in stuff from different angles.

The tail looks awesome, and you managed to make the whole thing look pretty much 3D-ish.
