I think I'm going to try to do a series based on the Decemberists' new album, the Hazards of Love. There are 17 songs, so it'll probably keep me occupied for a while. It's really great if you haven't heard it yet.Prelude <---

I can definitely picture this as the prelude. It's sort of looking at the Taiga/what will be the scene of the story before the audience actually goes into the thick of it, the music giving a sense of things to come. Although I'm just looking at the forest at a distance, I can sense a foreboding feeling, even without the music.
I would love to see you do the entire album! It would be a lot of work for sure, but if it turns out anything like this it'd be magnificent.

I noticed after I left the comment that even the Annan Water is included in the picture (I'm assuming that's what the stretch of water dividing the picture is supposed to be) and I thought it was the neatest thing, haha. I'll definitely have to check back - I'm looking forward to the series.

Haha! Yep. I knew I couldn't forget the river since Annan Water is one of my favorite songs off the CD.
