Not quite. In the show-canon, Moon shape-shifted into them, but I chose to make them actual ponies. She created them, but they stick around and can be 'summoned' at any time. I also treat them more like typically useless henchmen. The kind that try hard, but never (Or at least very rarely) accomplish something or succeed. Unfortunately for Princess Moon, Darkfire here is the smartest of the trio of Shadowbolts, and that isn't saying much.
