I used the first Alastair because he tortured new Ruby. I like that. It makes me happy.
EDIT: I have changed Alastairs!! Now that I think back, I don't see why it was ever a contest. Sure the first one tortured Ruby, but second Al totally and completely trumps the first one. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. On a side note, I am in love with Christopher Heyerdahl. I love him. He is the victim of my love.
I'm also fairly certain that it is impossible to watch a scene and not fall in love with him. Such a great actor. ...That is all. Alastair (c) Supernatural

I know Yellow Eyes should remain the most nortorious demon but..I mean if I had to chose between locked in a room with him or Alastair..I'd pick Yellow Eyes!! This Alastair REALLY creeps me out but at the same time that's exactly what I like about him. I'm making no sense so I'm gonna shut up.
But I agree the only thing the old man Al accomplished (besides torturing Ruby) was making me laugh.
