I thought I'd put in a little background, so there's some simple clouds and whatnot : )Here is my drawing of Chazmazda 's Blue Light as part of an art trade!
I'm quite happy with this - I went back to using my old shading methods and I think it looks good just like that, without all the effects I tossed on the previous drawing. The only possible issue is that the shading makes her look a bit lighter than she is supposed to be, and I already tried my best to fix it :')
What do you think? Constructive criticism is always welcome!

I love how well done this character is! The way you do the eyes matches the piece very well and the line art and the coloring on the hair is amazing! But as you add the white highlights to the body, it starts to blend into the background a little bit. The way you do hooves is very original, and I admire that about your MLP artwork, but the back ones almost look backwards in this piece. If that’s what you intended, then don’t worry about it! The post is majestic, and it truly looks like she’s enjoying a noon flight. This is just my thoughts from one MLP artist to another!I love how well done this character is! Thanks for all your comments! As I said in my journal, I really appreciate advice from others because otherwise I have no idea what needs to be improved - it's like how writers have editors and proofreaders.
I've always had a problem with back hooves, even from the first drawing I posted on here, I got a comment about the back hooves being wrong :') I already tried to fix them a lot but I wasn't sure if they still looked weird to anyone else (since you know how if you stare at your own work too long, everything begins to look bad) but now I know it isn't just me, I'll have to pay more attention to it. Thank you again!!
