Description
This is the cloths design I made for ‘s contest. The model is her OC, Hardrockangel.

I designed the outfit by blending 3 different styles:
1) Traditional Chinese
2) 19th Century Ball Gowns
3) Modern Teen
This combo is perfect for attending parties and having fun at festivals and such. And considering weather, these clothes aren’t to hot nor to cold for inside and outside.

I chose to make the dress with mostly cold colors such as blue and purple because it seemed to suit Hardrockangel and matched her sapphire eyes. Black and white goes well with anything as long as you knew how to put them together. The bracelet around her left arm is silver so that it goes good with the cold colors of the dress. The small gem on the bracelet is red so that it contrasts from the dress making the clothes catchy and it also makes others aware of the person wearing it. If desired, a purse made with cold colors, including green, can be put with this design.

The rope necklace, belt, ect. Is an accessory sold in most small shops at my place. They’re quite popular. It’s mainly a pin with long strands of beads or strings attached to it and you can wear it anywhere/anyhow you like. I pinned a small one on her headband used to replace her headphones and on her boots too. The necklace is not pinned on to the dress and it’s boots instead of high heels because you can’t freely walk around in high heels (sense the theme is “festive” clothes). I made the pins music notes because music notes were kinda like her symbol and represented who she was so I didn’t want to leave them out. The purple cloth near the side of her arms and at the back replace a large pair of wings. That way she’s still like an angel and she can still have fun without the wings getting in the way *this is from my own experience wearing an angel Halloween costume*.

I had to draw a back view because there’s this small cape like part at the back that you can’t see at the front. Since I had some extra time, I drew a separate portrait of Hardrockangel wearing the dress and combined the dress design with it (because the contest only lets you submit one entry).
