This is my friend and my adorable Goddaughter. Her daughter was not brought to her by her choice, but by one man's cruel actions. Instead of deciding to punish her child for what that man did to her, she carried the child and raised her as her own. This little girl is truly a blessing to both of us.Though she and her now husband have gone through a lot in their relationship, he has been my Goddaughter's dad since day one.
I've seen people say that women who are raped should abort the child, the choice is theirs, but not every woman is going to see the child as a product of rape, and have flashbacks every time she sees that child. My friend looks at her daughter and sees her world. This little girl has been an inspiration to her life, as well as my own life. She is the most amazing little angel in this world, I don't know what life would be like without her, nor do I ever want to imagine it.
This is a direct quote from her when she posted this picture on facebook:
"It is moments like this that I live for! This little girl is my world. She makes me laugh and cry. She makes me realize what's important in life and keeps me striving to be a better person. If it weren't for her and my husband, there would still be a void in my life. I love you both more than words can ever say. Thanks for completing me and helping me become the woman I am today!! <3"
And yet another quote from her that melted my heart today!!!
"My daughter continues to amaze me and take my breath away. Tonight when I was putting her to bed, she asked me if I felt better (I have been sick for 2 days), and when I told her I wssnt feeling good she told me "Lay down, Mommy, I will pray for you" and continued with her own prayer for me. Needless to say, it made me cry!!!! I do and always will love you Candice Nancy!!!! ♥♡♥"

In a way she is. Even though she was raped and that's how her daughter came to be, she can't imagine her life without her little girl in it. She could have chosen abortion, but instead she's raised that little girl as her own and she has changed my friend's life. My friend was already a strong woman, but now, she's even stronger. My Goddaughter is an inspiration to not only her, but me as well. I hate flying, I lothe it. But I flew to Pen from Washington state last year to be there for her at her wedding, my Goddaughter-her daughter- walked down the aisle with her, she sees her daughter as a gift from God, something horrible can become something beautiful if we allow God to work in those hard times.

LOL yeah but you can still take privilages away from some of the kids. XD the other day 2 boys didn't want to listen so they had to come inside with me and sit and read books quietly while I did mats.

Oh they already do that. XD They have to eat all the food on their plate before they get more LOL! The kids weren't mad at the books, they were just wanting to play. And mats are what they sleep on, large comfortable mats(i wouldn't say TOO comfortableXD)

Yeah, I know. Sounds exhausting XD Boys like showing how tough they are to other boys, so they'll try anything to get under your skin. Girls have a quiet almost understanding of what we got through with the boys and they know how to behave. Usually XD If they're grouped together, count me out! XD THTH- too hard to handle!!! XDXD
