To be completely honest, I actually just did this to work with the colour combination of red and blue - my personal faves.

BUT, I also did this because I had yet to do a new lineless of Thom and Idracil. :3 Quite frankly, however, I am quite pleased with how it turned out.

I did also intentionally make the sun a bit 'impression-istic' on purpose - a bit exotic-looking. This is because, to Thom and the Crusaders, the Middle East and the Holy Land are quite exotic to them, since they're used to their mountains and shades of grey and green from their homelands~~~ They're definitely not used to all the sand and rocks, (and blatantly obvious lack of rain,) most of all! XD

And YYYEEEEEESSSSSSS! I've finally found my own spiffy way of creating amazing clouds. I can feel the power...ahh...tingly, yes?
(Sorry. Tutorials are nice to look at for some things, but other things are just so much more satisfying to find out with your own grety matter, y'know? I mean really!)

So yes - Thomas and Idracil enjoying a nice flight across the Kingdom to Jerusalem from...somewhere. Actually most likely from Haladin's camp, because after the knights release him, (they captured him in a battle,) Haladin kind of reconciles and decides he should issue Thom a formal apology to make up for being nasty...and, of course, give Thom a load of pretty Meastern swords and fancy things. Perks like that always help.

I made Thom a little happier than usual because this is after the Crusade is formally ended and he's living in Jerusalem with his new giiiiiiiiiiiiiirlfrieeeeend, oowhooo! But it is true - in just about every other picture of him he's frowning, being angsty, frowning, crying, or frowning. Poor guy. But he has been put through many hard times - doesn't help. ;-;
