More of the new style - I also couldn't remember the last time I drew a tiger.
I think he's purrrrrrrrty. }:3Please pick and critique this - not necessarily anatomy or whatever, but the shading. That's the new thing for me.

I'd say the back legs could be darker than the rest of the shadows to give off that perspective of his stance, but other than that this is a gorgeous feline

As far as shading - beautiful. I don't know if perhaps this is simply a style thing, but I would advis, to make it look more natural, a little more softening of those shadows. They pop beautifully with the contrasting color, but without softening they're almost a bit odd, in my opinion. Still, lovely work and incredible background to match. Always an honor to see your work

Gorgeous. The purple shadows contrast beautifully with his coat ^_^ However, I think you over-shaded his muscles just a tad, especially on the front leg- I think he just needs a little bit more chubbiness (:

The anatomy is definitely spot on! And I love that you used purples and blues for the shadows because they create a nice contrast with the orangeness. ^^ As for the shading, I'm going to also agree that perhaps not all of the tiger's musculature would be distinguishable in the shading/highlights. The front limbs in particular look well-muscled, but it also makes it look as if he doesn't have much fur on his front limbs. I think the section of his body around the belly should be more shaded, too, because if the light is coming from the upper left (which is where I think the light source is) not much light would be reaching that area.
That aside though, he is one awesome looking tiger!

You would be quite proficient in the drawing of tigers and other large felines. Can you draw drop bears though?
