Ok, time to give a little summary about Shimmers past (Sees I went total Kawaii on the blushmark.... Facehoofs)

So before shimmer was in Equestria, she lived in a country where there were mainly phenoix ponies. and you'd never guess it, but shimmer was in the royal bloodline. Shimmer, was a princess. Celestia, Luna, and Cadence are aware of this country, but aren't aware that the little filly that was next in line for the throne, is busy doing air shows with the Wonderbolts. SHimmer never mentions her royal bloodline, because she doesn't want o be thought of as different, and doesn't want to go back home, for she knows she would have to take one the responsibilities of both her parents. She hopes no pony will find out... and is glad no pony knows... yet.
