Thank you! This picture inspires me and help me to proceed my project.
I'm making some futuristic animation and It's hard to imagine how future sky looks like.
And I think this picture would be a good start to visualize the future sky..
Thank you!

Hey thanks. Would you mind if I used the sky from this as a backdrop for a modelling project I'm working on? You would be amazed how difficult it is to find a decent shot of the night sky over a city.

I love how large cities and towns pollute the sky with light like this. It's so amazing to see from a few miles away.

Lovely picture, That's going in my faves! I like the way you captured the plane in it aswell. The Star trails add a sence of movement but the city, still. I am a user of the Canon 350D also. If i resize the pictures, It does not show the camera information, is this because you have "Edited" the picture.

Another thing, if you have Arcsoft Photo Studio, which came with the 350D - Go out to the middle of no-where, poiunt the camera on a tripod directly at stars do a 30 sec or longer exposure, take a few pictures like that using manual focus and no zoom. put them on pc, and use Photo Studios 'Auto-Enhance' it will look a bit weird, but you can see a lot more stars!! try the lowest setting on the window that pops up!

Just a little tip that i found out!

Anyway, Again, Nice picture

Use a piece of software that will keep the EXIF information when you resave after a save (i used XnView, nice freeware app that). Yeah, ive got a few sky exposures, they dont look bad, make sure your using a remote button thingy (cant rem the name atm) though if your gonna do bulb shots, makes it alot easier. Ill have to look into Arcsoft when i get my comp working again comfortably. Glad you like the pic though
