Rough Bio/Background (may change a little):
These two meet during mission 6. Max is from a family of Glaceon in Snowy Village. He completely and totally idolizes Chill, especially after he helped save the village from Shiv, and that's why he decided to become a rescuer.

During the clean-up of Tao, Max finds an injured Charmander beneath some rubble. She's completely disoriented and doesn't remember a thing at all about herself, save her name. Nicolette has an odd sense that she shouldn't be here, but doesn't know why. She's desperate to find more information about herself and potentially be reunited with family/friends. Max wants to lend a helping hand, and says it's his duty to help others in need, so the two form a team.

Team Nix: Nic and Max (he came up with it lol)

Personalities
Nicolette: Very timid and reserved at the moment, Nicolette is very unsure of herself in these "new" surroundings. When meeting new 'mons she is likely to be very softspoken, or not speak at all. She follows Max around like a lost puppy. Now that he's gone, she has no idea what to do with herself. She very much enjoys helping others, though she doesn't always have the confidence to do things on her own.

Max: Brave to a fault, Max is all about being the hero. Even if it means putting himself in danger, he'll rush at the opportunity to save someone. Generally very upbeat and talkative. He is determined to become a great Rescuer like Chill, and has put it upon himself to help Nicolette find her confidence, and eventually, her loved ones. He has a thing against Rogues and other "thieves."
