Caramelldansen Taunt!This is a playable texture i made for my brawl
Done in photoshop CS3
vertexed by demonslayerX (yes, her boobs are bigger: DD size XD)
Anyone interested? I'll be submitting my full "Super Smsh Bros Brawl: .Hack Version" in some time for anyone to download and play. This is just a small part. There are brand new stages, character textures and music!

Lol, nice. As intriguing as it sounds though, I think I'll avoid hacking my Wii as it sounds more involved and more possibly damaging than retexturing PC games, for instance. Speaking of Wii, looks like it has been another ~3 months since I last touched it -_-". I don't know if the problem is Wii (though it could definitely be a lot better) or me moving away from console games but I have been playing a ton of pc games during this time: mainly WoW.

I'll tell you what: it does not harm the wii at all, since i am not getting involved with any hardware. You install the homebrew channel, which allows you to play games you burn in regular DVD as well as USB loader GX, which you install via the homebrew. Whenever you want to return to the wii's ORIGINAL state, you just uninstall or update you wii and that's it: its harmless.
Dealing with brawl hacks is simple: i just use a 2gb SD card and store everithing in .pacs. The SD card folder has several folders, one involving SD codes, which are read as ocarina codes. Within this codes is a way in which the wii reads the brawl game as normal, but those codes replace certain elements of the game with those in you SD, involving similar issues: that's why you cannot import new things in brawl, but rather replace them.

You don't have to worry about damaging your Wii, as it's just soft modding. Also, if you want to do mods for Brawl without tweaking anything about the Wii, look into Stack Smash. What it does is uses a custom stage that's been injected with code to run an outside app of your choice, which can then run the codes and files you need.
