The shading is well done, especially the hair.

It is true that Tharja has an obsession with and stalks the Avatar regardless of the Avatar's gender (assuming that she is recruited).

I only recognise her because she's a frequent member of multiple 'terrible female fantasy costumes' blogs that I follow, that's literally the only reason I've seen her before :'D

I've got to admit, it's kind of a shame that one of the most interesting characters got the skimpiest costume. It actually doesn't fit her personality very much, so it was pretty much done for no reason other than fanservice.
Needless to to say she's on the "awesome female characters that I need to draw a redesign for because their canon outfits sucked" list.

I'll admit I know literally nothing about the character herself, all I know is that whoever designed her clothing (I use the word 'clothing' very loosely) does not get a gold star on their homework. I feel like that could be said of a lot of female characters, sadly.

Yeah... And Fire Emblem: Awakening kind of does a mixed job. There are a few ladies with clothing that makes complete sense for their fighting style, most aren't bad but could have done better, while some are just disappointing.
Some games definitely have their stuff together, others don't even try, and then there are games that are trying to get it together but haven't quite done it yet.
