Before doing some traditional art I owed people, I figure I'd do a quick experimental piece to get my bearings on things again, especially with colored pencils. Thought Joffrey'd be good since he's black and white so I could work with both sides of the spectrum. I don't really feel 100% with it, since it didn't come out how I wanted to at all, but eh, it's okay for a first in a while I guess. I want more of a half and half with colored pencils and watercolor. Pencils just kinda took over the whole thing here since I had to cover up a lot of things I didn't like. Hopefully my art trades and commissions will be better. What do you guys think about it? I haven't touched colored pencils in this sort of way since...before Finland, so that's a little over two years.

The colors aren't completely accurate. It's mostly blue with some purples in the coloring. Even with Photoshop, it tends to swing towards one side and drown out the yellows. e__e
