Up in my room, all alone.Dank, cold, darkness swallows me.
Cats creeping through the halls,
Their eyes glowing.
I wait up until the noises fade.
And the early birds awake with morning song.
But wait! A soft heart singing an unusual melody.
Eyes curiously watch.
She climbs up to her bedchambers, all alone.
Just another broken heart shattered.
Until what sadness tomorrow brings;
The cycle starts over.
