Description
So Iβve finally sat down and done a little bit of drawing. For something Iβve draw from my mind I think its ok. I will try and work some blues and browns into it at some point (most lightly with water colours).Anyways tell me what you think! ^_^

There is a lot of atmosphere in here! That is awesome!
But I would turn the white black. So that the brightest thing is the middle of the work - no white border.

Looks great! Especially if you didn't have any references. I wish I could draw from just my mind, but sadly every time I try my stuff looks like garbage :\

First of all, I love the lamp in this, I just don't think it's very consistent with the rest of this drawing :/ Also you would most likely be able to see Taro's chin. Otherwise his head would be laying sideways.
I think using contrast would have made this picture better executed. You definitely used it with the lamp and its bold outline, just try to be consistent with that next time, okay?
Honestly I think this would look better if you had kept the background behind Taro white or lightly shaded and continued the border shading (if you get what I'm saying?) on the three sides you've put it on.
I see from a comment below you've used to refs, so this is an okay start to building that artistic stamina, but study a bit more on angles! Pesky things, I hate 'em too!
But I do like this picture, which is why i'm goin to fave it
