Shiny shiny shiny weird alternate myth/legend version.
SORRY AM TOTALLY UNANONING LIKE A BOSS.
I actually finished this three weeks early and have been sitting on it patiently, but... no sign of life from the intended recipient! So... UnAnoning and posting to dA... a day late /OTL, thank you, double shift.
Interestingly, you could see me working on this on my livestream several weeks ago/failanon.

xD I'm not sure what she's doing - disarming him or about to stab him - but there's some sort of story here, something awesome and epic and tragic and medieval, since my brain was totally running on that sort of wavelength when I did this.
Oh yes, totally went medieval for the fashions. Unf, there are such beautiful things you can do with those.

I like this! The details in the costumes, a way to show mail in cartoon/manga style, attention to how a sword should be constructed (which is one of the irritating things about the anime), even the applique on the gauntlet.... (runs off to OD on old Museum Replicas catalogs) (after feeding horses, and since posting more chapters of my own SS- project.) Well done!
