...I haven't seen any? I mean, my friends are like "IT'S AWESOME" and I really do like the designs, but I just haven't had time and there's also a billion other series I need to watch/get caught up on, too, and it's all a bit overwhelming, really. I was going to try to catch up on a few things this past week, since I was having surgery and all, but that didn't work out so hot. DDX

The first half season builds kinda slow.  At first you might think "Is this just a monster of the week kinda thing?" but seemingly throwaway lines aren't.  And then you learn other things the characters can do, and the lore of the world gradually starts to creep in.  The further you go, the more stuff is revealed.  They're good at pacing and building up the tension.
