Escaflowne! One of the first animes I watched back in the day when YTV was showing it. Van has always been a cosplay I wanted to do, and I was stoked that we were doing it as a group to AE.When we first saw *maverickwarrior as Merle I'm pretty sure we all squealed a little inside... or out loud. Mavi this is probably one of my favorite costumes of yours. You were so cute and you fit her so well. Thank you for taking photos with me :3

Oh my god I was only talking about Escaflowne to a colleague a few days ago, went to a local dvd/cd shop and saw a series 2 dvd there (for £3 no less!) and now I log on to see you and Mavi looking faaaaab!
Absolutely amazing, I had been wondering for ages if anyone cosplayed Escaflowne at all. So it made me squeal out loud to see this too!
