Ello everyone....Am back!! Finally after one month of procrastination..finally got my act together and drew something....yeah I know it's another FMA piccy again but I can't help it....luv the show tooo much
...Anyway I deceided to attempt a pic with barbed wires I haven't actually done one before....and I thought it would be interesting....I can't really say much about the pose...Ed just looks bloody depressed or sulking 
... and btw if you notice Al's in the background but you can only see his legs...With the colouring of this pic I deceided to try a new approach and match paint style colouring of the background with flat cel shading of the characters in more anime style like colours...
I was working on this picture for a couple of days on a off....I think I started to get lazy towards the end coz it took sooo long...oh well... 
Okies Enjoy ne...I would appreciate it if I could get some feedback on the colouring style of this one...Arigatou ^.^

i think this looks wonderful. the coloring does work well, and the wire is really really detailed, so that's super. but i think his hand and arm may be a tad too big for the rest of his body, otherwise i really really love how he looks here

I really like it, but his hand and arm are strange.. Don't know... Perhaps his hand is too big? But well... great job and there will never be enough Ed. I fave it. ^^

Wow, the barbed wire just looks so realistic. *_* The fact that it's a bit more randomly placed and not so orderly makes this more attractive, at least for the mood. The coloring is superb, keep up the good work. ^_^

OOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH!! 
The cel shading looks really nice, but I think you should have used cel shading on the cloth as well if it is supposed to be in the foreground. I don't know what it is, but when I first looked at the picture I thought the red cloth was in the back-background... I think it is because usually soft shaded things tend to fade to the back. But this cloth is supposed to be entangled in the wires in the front, right? Kinda an optical illusion for my eyes. But man on man, those folds ROCK!!!
But other than that, the colors you used look GREAT!! And I think the whole cell/soft shading worked great for Ed and the brick wall!

I love this one. Ok first all the good things. Eventhough u did paint for bg it does not looks pastel hell it looks great I like the sharpness n the bold quality of the whole thing. Yes I can c a wall. It took me awhile to find the leg but it's there. And the char. design is quite original n does not look like u know who. This is truly u should keep the whole style. Experimentation is good n this is u.
Ok u were rite the hand is kinda wonky. But you are atill great n this one is good so be confident in urself ne. 5 thumb ups from me. N a fave for a magnificent peace. BTW he is depress thinking of something so yeah I can c that.

Woooow... This one's really great! The way you did the jacket is really detailed. I like the wire as well. It looks almost real.
The cell shading came out really greate, especially since the lineart was so detailed. Next time you color that way, try adding a few more levels of color to make it look more detailed than the anime. I really like this though.
Ed does look like he's staring into space. XD I wonder what he's thinking about. Such a shame he rarely has his hair down like that in the series. He looks so cool. ^^ Although the seriousness does make him look several years older.
