I wouldn't mind this pairing, I see them as having a love/hate relationship. I actually find their relationship to be pretty relatable because I can't stand most of my family and it's nice to see a family dynamic that isn't so positive since it's pretty realistic.

Mostly due to political and personality differences, my grandma is the main family member I can't stand but the thing is, everyone else in my family goes along with whatever she says even if they don't agree with her because telling her off is basically a sin in my family but regardless of that, I've told her off many times before.

My grandma is incredibly judgemental and bitter, especially towards me for a number of reasons apart from politics. Just one example of my grandma doing something that makes me can't stand her is when I said at one point that I didn't like gossip magazines for teenagers (magazines like sixteen and other similar ones) because of the sort of morals they spread to young girls but then my grandma basically said that I was hating on them because I have something personally against the creators of these magazines or something. She also tries to invalidate the complaints that I had about school regarding bullies by implying that the bullies didn't really care about me and it's like I know that but clearly they cared enough to bully me, this didn't really surprise me though since she was actually a cheerleader when she was in high school, so she likely was a mean girl type. There are tons of things that she's done and currently does that make me hate her, I could give many more examples.
