Description
Mimitrees are inspired by a few things such as Legend of Zelda, League of Legends and World of Warcraft.

They're basically a bunch of sentient trees that feed off of magical energies. The 'eyes' you see aren't exactly eyes but still serve the same purpose to them. Their clothing is really vines that grow from their body and wrap around them. They can unwrap these to use them as long-ranged lashing weapons. The hail from dense jungles from around the world and are capable of defying death via transferring their consciousness into the fruits that grow on their heads, enabling them to cheat death and regrow from it when it drops. They have an addiction to magic and tend to feed off of any source, whether it be a good of bad one. They find dark/necromancy/blood magic to be toxic to them however they will still try some, if not to stave off their addiction.

They can look different depending on where they're from but tend to be found in dense rainforest or jungle.

They live a small tribal lifestyle and are ruled by a chief and his family, the chief chooses a successor which is more often than not his own child however there are cases where someone else is chosen. They subsist off a diet of other plants and animals that they turn into a paste that they absorb through the roots in their fingers. They tend to be civil to people to run across near their homes but do not allow outsiders inside their area. They are successful hunters and gatherers and woe be to any fool who angers them. They tend to make examples of those who do, hanging their skulls just outside their territory as a warning to all those who may enter. When hunting or going to war they paint themselves with the blood of their first kill and every kill after, never washing it off til they feel their battle is over, to this day some are almost completely covered in blood and have yet to finish their personal war.

When they breed the male and female eat the fruit of the other then connect the flower on their heads. The female will then grow a new fruit of a different color. This will drop off and slowly grow into their child, at a much slower rate then they grow when they transfer their conciousness.
