“All I ever wanted... was to be understood...“

I’ve never had a character that I related to so much especially at this stage in life. I’ve always had a close connection to Luz as a character and the longer the show went on I felt I saw more and more of myself in her (finding it hard to make friends/connections with your peers, having odd interests, escaping into fandom and fantasy since the real world wont accept you. etc.).

It felt so satisficing to see her finally look deep down and find out what she truly wanted is what we all crave in life; to be seen and be understood, not having to constantly put on a mask or contort yourself in to a box so people can treat you like a person. And for string bean to be a snake shifter is just too perfect (it’s basically what I’d make my palismen too tbh but I felt it’s be so clique and I’d be a total werido for it but here it is!)
