Description
Sing to me of deformitieshunchbacked tongues
clicking moonlit melodies
useless upon cleft palates
these sad human parodies
clubbed feet dancing to the music
of their slack jawed formalities
drunk on the knowledge
of their celebrated inabilities
hidden from the form
of cruel harsh realities
wherein perfection is the exception
and not the rule of peculiarities
sing to me of deformities, abnormalities and maladies
so I can dance my dance of still born insanity

This is soooo raw...and it hits me so quickly I'm not sure how I should feel..Just when I think I have the feeling of the poem, it turns and smacks me with a right cross. I love it and I feel like the first two poems I saw, you were dealing with your rawness, your rust, but this feels a lot like your old voice. I feel like people could relate to this from so many viewpoints, and I'm glad to see this <3. Definite

The individual always battles with what is wrong with themselves...they rarely praise what is right, pure and beautiful about them.
I think this piece is inspired by looking underneath peoples physical maladies to see the beautiful human beneath
