"Ah, the Riflebolds some of my most prized units on the battlefield. They are trained at holding ground with long range armor-piercing weapons. They're also equipped with power shovels, titanium armor, and a backpack full of supplies to hold out for months in a trench. A weakness of these units is in close-range combat, but this is solved usually with flamethrowers. They're generalists, so use them wisely..."

...I think that's the best way to really put it and say it out straight up with Captain PiK talking about it. This is going to be the first of many units that are going to be talked about as we get more and more of the gods and other things out of the way in the setting. It's almost a crime that I haven't even given these guys a proper update since they appear in so many images. Anyways now let us get onto the fun facts about them!

Fun Fact 1: Riflebolds are the first unit ever to be created by Captain PiK's armada as they're comprised entirely of Copper Fruit Kobolds and were once arbalest, slingers, and rogues.

Fun Fact 2: Riflebolds have a high tolerance for boredom and prefer being buried underneath the mud of a trench

Fun Fact 3: The rifle is known as the BH-14 Rifle. This rifle is one of the first guns ever produced from PiK's high tech forge. The gun was created for long range encounters and to be an upgrade to be used by Fruit Kobold Heavy Crossbowmen. The BH-14 has 14 rounds and can easily pierce through both Pirated Spacer Gear and well as Fancy Fantasy Gear they may come across. It's easy and quick to produce, and gets the job done. This main fire-arm was the most mass produced in the war against the Mimin Armada. This weapon was also known as the "New Hope Rifle." The reason for this is that when the Captain started to produce these weapons the Fruit Kobolds stood a much higher chance against the local fantasy races and Mimin Armada. Later iterations of the rifle kept the same name but could eventually pierce through heavily armored spacer tanks. Many Riflebolds also really enjoy the "ping" sound that it can create, and you may see them waste ammunition just to hear it.

Fun Fact 4: The Titanium Armor they have on weighs an absolutely ridiculous amount, but thanks to the Copper Fruit Kobold's muscle building regen, they can wear it just fine, but they seem to consume more food than usual, and they cannot sprint for long distances either.

Fun Fact 5: The Riflebold is the most common unit that Captain PiK will deploy on missions and pair well with his goblin units that set traps further ahead.

Fun Fact 6: Flamethrowers are never used on assault but on defense to make infantry flee as a last resort

Fun Fact 7: Only 75% of the Riflebolds are made out of outlaws and thieves

Fun Fact 8: Their helmet is based off the "Kettle" helm

Fun Fact 9: Copper Fruit Kobolds are so resistant to heat they can withstand dragon fire and are 100% immune to any fiery effects.
