Thanks to Jen for letting me use her eye (and surrounding eyeliner) to do this..... done with photoshop... and edited lots

good technique, but on the eye glow, it could do a bit more improvement, the eye beneteh is still noticeble, other than that, it worked perfectly, the modifications have the same texture as the picture below .

i like this, i like it alot.. im finding myself at a crossroads however.. which do i like more ? jens natural gorgeous icey blue eyes ? or these equally gorgeous black eyes ?.... eee

this is beautiful. it is urban and it is 'religious' (not in the usual way), it is soft and yet strikes with sharpness, it's revealing and concealing, it's holding me and yet mkaes me feel distant.
i'm pushed and i'm pulled, i'm inside, i'm out in the cold....

Interesting and unique concept, it's executed quite nicely. The manipulation you've done is great, with its high contrast details, and its clever use of focus. I'd be almost curious to know what the original looked like, with just the eye liner, and the original eye, maybe only mildly manipulated.
All in all though, really neat.

Wow. It's been a long time i've try for my part to achieve the best "black eye", i mean the most realistic, with manipulation under photoshop, and i've never doing this kind of masterpiece. Great, Great Job.
Also, the little tatoos near the eye are very great, and make the subject "stronger". Are they on the original picture or do ou draw them?
