Well this isn't the original evil plan, but it's a suitable substitute.

Tigatron was portrayed as a samurai in the japanese version of Beast Wars (the comics anyways, not sure about the show). Drift is bashed upon for being a stereotypical samurai/ninja, and his head kinda looked like Tigatron's begin with.

And so the Drift I got off Ebay became Tigatron. His vehicle mode's front end is meant to invoke his beast mode's face. The blades had a touch of blue to make them look more like Energon weapons than traditional swords.
