Description The reWorth Series is all about giving something new value, a repurposing. Taking something that was discarded and turning into art. This is not a "Save The Earth" recycle thing, just a creative use of materials. The catch is that only the most basic of materials (more or less) are used. No digital, just Photoshop for scanning.

reWorth Pug
reWorth Series number 1.

Discarded Cardboard (from layout pads from work),
pencil, white Prismacolor pencil and white ink Uniball pen

Love this although I'm partial since I have a pug named Tinker Bell, lol. I would love to see it have more more have a contrast between the shadow and light, just like your reWorth elephant Tim

I think that's great Aegisdeadlands.

I love the faded out background, I get the same effect by dropping a sheet of tracing paper over the background to tone down - but you've achieved it with the medium itself - great.

I did a reWorth without knowing it when I re-used a bit of one of my pieces (John Cooper Clarke's face from "Ou est la maison...." and re-used it on "Here's Johnny" - maybe not exactly reWorth but I'm getting there

Maybe darker darks? Or could the cardboard not handle it?
