yay another fucking oc

so while doing schoolwork i tended to just stare at random things while thinking
and i have this little binder (well it's not little) that has a mermaid sitting on a cresant moon, and i really liked the hair and the jewrlery she has on, so this gal came into existence

but PLEASE note that she is NOT a merpony, she is simply mermaid THEMED (althought she is interested in mermaid mythogy, and thats what her cutie mark means)

Name: Lilai Mermailis

Age: unknown

Gender: female

Personality: helpful, honest, can be a little immature when it comes to her books.
Tiny details: she likes to cosplay as a mermaid at all times, saying that it helps her grow a connection with them (I CALL BULLSHIT), and lives by the shore.

bio: She grew up on a faraway island. Her parents (their guides might be coming out) used to read her stories about mermaids when she was a filly, which she believes what sparked her curiosity about them. When she was old enough she decided to leave her island's village and go to the main land for the first time. She has only met some ponies that brought trading ships from the main island, and she always wanted to go there. She set sail, even though her parents begged her not to go, saying that it was not safe. When she arrived she was greeted by a purple alicorn (Look mum! it's a wild alicorn! oh wait no it's twilight). She thought she was nice and took an instant liking. The purple alicorn, who introduced herself as twilight sparkle the princess of friendship, explained that she was here to created a good relationship with the ponies on the faraway island (still thinking of a name). Lilai couldn't wait to write to her parents about this one. Twilight lead lilai to her home, a house on the shore, saying that she should get settled in before twilight continued her tour and such.
