Jak and Daxter Copyright NaughtyDog Inc.I was looking through Ottsel versions of Jak a long, long while ago, and decided to try my own hand at it. This was the result, and also one of the very few times I actually colored an image. The coloring of Jak's pants got a bit wonky but overall I'm pretty pleased with Jak. I dunno about Daxter though, I think something's missing from him.
Just in case you were wondering, the fanfic-that-never-was that's behind this involves Jak accidentally getting caught in one of Vin's experiments, and was set between Jak 3 and Jak X.

So cute! I donβt think Iβve seen a Jak ottsel before. I do wonder about the tree branch. Hehe, Daxterβs hand on Jakβs shoulder and expression makes me think heβs saying βwelcome to the club of three feet tall fuzz balls.'

The tree branch is from the story-that-never-was (Daxter had been teaching him to balance on thin things using his tail, and Jak had gone onto a branch way to thin for his weight), and there are many people (Like Lawzy87's Jak ottsel version, [link] or what Demyrie does with him) who do ottsel Jak. It really is one of those nice 'what-if?' ideas, considering the precursors had offered him 'evolution' in Jak 3 (before Veger, of course...).
Thing is, most people colored him as a blonde with tinges of green (that I'd seen at the time), so I asked myself what he would look like with mostly the colors of an average precursor sans the eyebrows, goatee and hair.
