At the time of writing this I currently don't make the jackets or garments from scratch, however I do distressed, burn, dust up, shred, add things, and otherwise alter/modify them for costuming purposes.
I'll usually find them online or (if I'm gonna destroy them) clothing exchange stores in my area.
