Description

Lionel was exploring one of the many tunnels of the Tribus-Antiqua cave system under the careful eye of the tribe's caretaker Caius . They had been chasing each other around a few moments ago, but the older rook hadn't been able to keep up with the kid's energy and had been forced to take a breather to quietly watch his charge play instead. Now the over-energetic pup was bounding around the rocks, hunting after the strange armoured beetles that lived in these caves and pretending they were mighty foes. He had just flicked one of the insects onto its back and was watching it waving its legs around as it tried to right itself. Lionel turned to Caius with a grin but froze as he saw a look of fear on the older rook who was staring at a shadow projected on the far wall of the cave. The first twinges of terror settled in Lionel's stomach as the rook proceeded to grab him by the scruff of the neck and run, as quickly and silently as he could. Hanging helpless as he was, heart pounding, Lionel stared as the shadow stretched and bent as the creature that cast it crept forward. The creature that could only be Lurker. Before he was pulled around a corner and out of sight, Lionel swore that he'd seen the end of a pointed, black mouth...

Wild BTT XIII - I Ain't Afraid of No Ghost for jrusti 's Lionel with Caius as his guardian. I hope you like it and that everything is okay! (let me know if there's anything you would like changed. For instance, I haven't checked the word count for the little description above but if it needs a few more words in order for it to qualify for FP, I'm happy to do that ^^). Lionel is absolutely gorgeous and I still love everything about the lore for this tribe of kukus. I definitely enjoyed drawing them!
