So, amserpand , Thessur , squidina and I decided to team up for a couple of stryxmas event entries (and its super sun so far! You guys are all awesome!). We just finished the first of them and I get to submit this one

How on earth did you make such a background!? That is just so stunning, amazing, professional, and just fantastic by all standards! I have not idea if that made any sense but HEY THIS IS AWESOME!
Seriously the snowy slopes look so good! And those pine trees have just great details in them, it looks like I am looking at one of those really good paintings people do and sell. And the strynx look awesome too! The wings look awesome ( I have been working on my wings btw) and hahah I like the explanation <"yes!" Are they playing a game in this scene?

I am not sure if right now I can, because the only digital art I do is on my kindle and it is a free app, that isnt like the highest quality. But could I keep you to this and when I get my laptop and a bamboo table and an art program (probably Sai and gimp) could we do that then?????? o.o <3 THank you so much for being my friend. When I first saw your art I was really really impressed and you still amazing with you art. It is just so fantastic! So it means a lot that you would want to do a collab with me! <3
The program I am using is called Sketchbook pro or desktop or something like that XD I need to look. But Maybe I could try opening something if you sent it to me...or maybe I could send something to you...so possibly we could try...now that I am thinking about it...

YEAH, I'd definitely love to do a collab with you sometime. It is possible to do a collab with traditional art if its scanned in cleanly but I'm also happy to wait until you get a tablet or I can send you a file now and see if you can open it if you want ^^

Oh my gosh...I am so sorry! I am graduating from highschool this year so DA kind of got pushed aside! So did my requests! Oh geeze o.o lol anyway! This was the cuttest reply ever! AND REALLY!? YOU WOULD WANT TO WITH ME!? I would love to do a collab and I am so happy you would too!

I really try to go out of my way, when I comment, to tell people what I like about their work and why. Not just, good job. Idk as an artist myself I like it when people elaborate on what they noticed or liked. You know? Plus it feels good! XD

well as far as a collab... I think it would be cool if we both did sketched and put them together! As far as coloring and shading we could divide that maybe I could put in the basic colors and you do shading and maybe add details to it too? How does that sound? You are really amazing at details and shading!!

okay great, that sounds like a plan! Did you want me to draw a rough background or something that we can sketch our characters into or have one person start the sketch and the other person add their character into it? I really don't mind, this is going to be fun either way!

I think it would be if we had it where one of us does background and the other does characters maybe? Or where we each do each other characters and I can help you with ideas for the background, but you are wayyy better at them! Maybe you can give me tips on how to do it!

I think it would be cool if you either did a jungle or forest type background OR maybe a swampish area. Whatever one you like better.
Well if we did a random picture like you suggest would want to video chat and do it like right then and there?
