Description
The first of two trees I've made using some genuine sapphire chips and a Swarovski crystal moon. I'd forgotten that sapphires are supposed to be the birthstone for September - I really should have thought about making these last month. Β

oooo I love this! All the wrapping and getting the wire to behave must have been a PITA!Β I used to do tiny bead work but not all the added wire work. I need to ask. Where did you get your Swarovski crystal? My supplier closed down D: I need a new supplier

It can sometimes take ages to get it looking 'just right' and bigger trees are a royal PITA because of the amount of tension I have to put on it but it's all part of it haha. Swarovski crystals ... it depends really. I've bought from various places including ebay shops. Off the top of my head MaxBeads and BeadsDirect, but it depends because not all stores sell all the types I want so I tend to go on a hunt and buy them when I find them. Β

Thanks! I have a hard time trusting online orders for supplies -_- I prefer to see things in person. I like seeing the size, weight all that. I figure someone who works with beads regularly understands. I have a large project coming up. Nightmare Rarity has stars and all sorts of sparkles and glimmer. Pretty much just throw fabulous at her.Β
