Given Gardevoir's Nurturing characteristics and Ralts' very weak condition with few ways to defend itself, it's obvious that wild Gardevoir probably raise their kids very closely. However, the Ralts that you encounter in the wild are parentless and wandering around with no way to defend themselves other than "growl".

The only answer is that these Ralts were conceived by irresponsible Kirlias who are too busy partying to be mothers. So they dump them in the fields and hope for the best.

Well I realized only a few days ago that, with the Hoen region, the Ralts appear very very rarely and they only know the move growl so that you can lower their HP without fainting them. So in that Case, the mothers are probably right there making sure their kids find good partners, I imagine.

However, With Diamond and Pearl (which is where I first found wild ralts) You can find dozens and dozens of them everywhere. So I guess Sinnoh Kirlias are a little less reserved or something.

I see, well I wouldn't know, I am from Britain, so we have not yet got Diamond and Pearl >_<;. I never thought Ralts would be made that common.

You need an item to find it, but when you do, you can get up to nine in a row.
