Description And we danced
Like a wave on the ocean, romanced
We were liars in love and we danced
Swept away for a moment by chance
And we danced and danced and danced

Just some quick sketch I did while listening to this awesome song: [link]
It was to play with perspective and also I wanted to play with colors, but I never got that far. Another one for the scraps.

It's Ariel and Orion. Their story from start to finish just fascinates me so much.

You should look more into 80's music. There's some good stuff out there.

Well I can't say I haven't heared of any 80's music. I have heared a few when I was 5 years old. Good times... My older sister has a MP3 CD that has both 80's & 90's. It has some I like.

W00t for perspective! It's very well done here. I need to practice that stuff more myself, and this looks like a fun way to do it.

Ariel and Orion fascinate me too. They both look so harmless and unassuming, yet there is a strong visual connection to who they will become. I like to think that at the very core, this is still a part of who they are.

Every time you post a link to your inspirational music, I play it while I'm writing the comment

Yes, no matter what happens to us, there's still a part of us that will always remain the same. Especially with Optimus Prime, people tend to forget what humble beginning he came from. It's such a crazy story when you think of it for him to become that much of a legend when most of it was thrust upon him without him even asking for it.

Do you think Alpha Trion just shoved the matrix in him while he was out? Sneaky old man. XD

And that's so cute you listen to the music. It's good stuff.

Ha, I think that's exactly what the old dude did. I think he held onto that thing for so long everyone forgot it existed, and then bam! "Guess what guys? You got a bonafide Prime now! Enjoy. Where'd he come from? Why do you ask?"

Imagine if the Arielbots had brought Elita/Ariel to Alpha Trion first instead of Orion. Now that would be a neat fanfic idea ...

Well, I dunno if Alpha Trion was just looking to get rid of it and would happily put it into the first mech or femme that was dragged to his doorstep. I think it was the matrix who chose Orion. Though I have heard of fics where Elita has been given the matrix. Off the top of my head, I have no idea what they were though.

The Matrix does seem to have it's own agenda ... I just wonder if Alpha Trion was acting on its behalf or his own. I don't particularly buy the "wise fatherly figure" routine he has going on ... that is one sneaky bot and I'll bet half the time he has his own ideas about what should be going down in Cybertron-town ...

I love it when he plays the senile old fart when Megatron comes around demanding stuff. But he's a first generation of Vector Sigma and he, I guess, had the matrix at one time as well, unless Optimus just found it somewhere. I do agree, Alpha Trion knows so much more than he lets on and I think he takes personal delight in not telling anyone.

Though why he found if necessary to lock himself away in vector sigma still makes me wonder. I mean, did the Autobots REALLY need the Arielbots? They're such little shits. XD

Personally, I think it was a "why didn't I think of this before?" moment for him. Think about it ... he now has control over the one legit source of all Transformer life. If he wasn't plotting for it all along, he sure dropped everything quite readily for it. Now he's got a cushy gig as the most mystical SOB around. Best retirement plan ever.
