Their names are DJ and LJ. (One guess as to what the letters stand for.) Though Leo quickly starts calling them "DJ and LeeJay" which sticks for a while. When they get older, LeeJay turns into Lee, which he remains as "Lee" into his adulthood. DJ always stays DJ.

Mona and Donnie both work so Leo is the stay at home dad. He’s actually really good at it. Other than he’s still a weirdo doing things his own way.

Since the kids are reptiles, they could crawl since day one. They don’t cry like human babies. (Crying babies alerts predators.) But they do make noises like chirps and whines and little laser-gun noises like baby alligators make. They’re almost always dressed in warm onesies because they act like they’re allergic to being cold. If they get cold, you will HEAR ABOUT IT. They will let you know with all the cranky turtle noises.

As such, they bought a lot of oversized hoodies and the twins practically live in everyone’s shirts. Unfortunately, one thing they got from their mother is that they never sleep. Donnie thought, since he is a night owl, that he could stay up with the kids. But there he is at 3 am and they’re still going strong.

The twins absolutely adore their Uncle Raph. He gives out big Mama Gator energy. (As in, big scary predator will protect us.) And Uncle Mikey teaches them how to crawl all over Uncle Raph (because he is still Pocket Boyfriend size.)
