Sorry to people getting sick of nothing but TF art. I swear I’ll move onto something else eventually when I get it out of my system. ^.^;Another doodle I wanted to color. Though if I tried to color everything I drew I’d be coloring forever. So sorry, no color this time.
This is AirRaid and Bluestreak. I’ve got a soft spot for both of them. They’re both the same kind of personality–the happy, cute little brother types. They’re also easily over shadowed by their stern and sometimes angsty leaders; Silverbolt and Prowl. But they’re always ready and willing to help out whenever they can and I want to pinch both their cheeks. ^.^
This will eventually be in scraps if DA will let me. I’ve had a hard time trying to move stuff into scraps lately. :/

Just read your comment on lineart sheets. Try to buy/ download The Ark that just came from IDW. Thye've got a bunch o' designs from the G1 toon. Sadly, none of the female autobots though or Raoul, but almost everything else!

Ooo! I like this alot! But, to put stuff in scraps, just lable them "No Category" when you're doing the category part.

I do. But DA has some bugs in it, it's not putting them in the scraps section. It just changes the category, but still keeps it in your gallery. :/

Yeah, DA's kinda weird. Like with my old computer, I couldn't submit stuff because of the "gif, png, or jpg" thing, but when I made it one of those, it said that I had to have a preview picture, so when I made a preview picture with "gif, png, or jpg" it said that it had to be one of those when it already was. It was very confusing...

Don't worry, Ty, artists know you can't just turn on creativity like a faucet. If it's working, roll with it.
(I did get a split-second impression of Rowen's helmet from this piece, however....XD)
I think the most important parts of Transformers are the cut of their faces (I was always rather impressed with how different each one's face is shaped in the series; that is a nice touch especially in a robot series) and their hands. You do well with their hand expression; it's nice not to see blocks where their fingers should be (which is how someone like me would cheat at this sort of thing!).

But yeah, it's crazy how different every single character in Transformers is. It's hard to learn all the character designs. So many to work with. I think that's why I've been enjoying it so far. I don't feel like I've been drawing the same character over and over again.

*chuckles merrily.* You know how some programs constantly use a small amount of a computer's bandwith in order to run? That's me and the Ronin--a small part of my brain is constantly occupied with them. It's their own little room in the Apartment in My Brain.
I wonder if they've got black-and-white line schematics of the 'bots like in art books. That'd be neat.

They used to. I had a bunch of them on my old computer, but it got chucked. I tried finding them again online, but no such luck. line art char design sheets are teh awesome. XD

I don't think there's any art books for the old tv show. I think that's more of a Japanese thing. But if you do find something like that, let me know.

ah very excellent! yeah DA is giving me scrap problems as well. i moved some stuff to scraps a couple weeks ago and they're still in my gallery, even though it says "scraps" underneath them.
