Metis, Semele and Hera: the Queen that was, the Queen that could be and the Queen that is.

I love these three so much. Metis helped to raise Zeus, was his first love and ultimately gave him his throne. Semele was the mortal whom Zeus would have made his queen, would have sat her son upon the starry throne of Olympus, had she asked for it. And Hera. We all know about Hera, why say anymore?

Zeus fell in love with each of these women, and I mean truly fell in love with them, and its no wonder! They are all badass in their own rites. (Besides, Zeus seems to have a thing for ladies who could beat his ass here and back again without even smudging their makeup)

Oh gosh it feels so good to be back in the art game, it's been a while hasn't it?

I drew this for my Cousin to thank her for letting me stay with her in Istanbul, and in fact, the Halo decoration is from Topkapı palace! It was...much stress.
