11x14 Graphite Pencil using mainly 2b, b, 4b and 2H pencils along with the tissue, qtip, and a small stump.

Wow, an amazing likeness. The contrast of light and dark is very well captured. Composition also very well planned.What sort of paper did you use? I take it that tissue, q tip and stump all make drawing brighter, by rubbing out?

This piece took me approximately 14hrs....Yeah I always spend alot of time on the composition because its obviously the basis for your drawing!! I used 110lb. acid free white paper...was recommended to me...and the tissue, q tip and stump are all used as blending techniques to make all the shades blend alot better!
