I reckon so, Ben! There was quite a varied selection though I do believe I had the oldest car there - one of the more interesting ones I saw was a late 80's RX7 with the Mazda rotary engine

Nice! I've always loved a good Mazda rotary engine. It's why the last version of the RX-8 is dead to me. No rotary engine.

Thanks MW,
I'm getting creamed by the college academic workload right now, so that's where I've been! ...and it'll only get worse before it gets better. I think it'll ease up, probably around December ?

Mmmm, yeah. Can you believe that back in 2000 I nearly sold it? I needed money to complete my garage, so I put it up for sale for $3999. Some guy came by and put $100 deposit on it, and said he'd be back in a day or two to pick it up. I canceled my ad, and he never returned. After a couple of weeks, the cash crunch eased, and after a couple of years and a few new speed parts, I thought heck, I guess that guy has forfeited his deposit. It's only gotten better since then. You can't buy a car like this, you have to create it.

Why am I reminder of Knight Rider? That SO needs a KITT module! "Tycho Rider"? *guffaws*

Excitement is like the angry and mischievious cousin to KITT who, instead of saying "Michael, I do not think this is a safe option", will shout "Faster? Harder? Well yeah, baybee!"
It took me nearly twenty years to figure out the name of this car and she is named Excitement.
A KITT module, eh? Hmm... How about a blast of nitrous purge out them hood snorkels? Psssshhht!!

I think this was the very first one.
Someone figured that the Motor City furrycon was near the Motor city, so why not feature some motors?
It turns out that there's a significant percentage of furries who are mechanics, engineers, and even airline & helicopter pilots.

yeah furries can be any body I realized. heck when I get out of school I will be an airframe mechanic, well that's after I get out of the air force. I guess you would have to have a good job to be able to buy a full suit any way haha.

No, you don't need a good job. You just need time. 50 dollars a month, 36 months, and don't spend it on anything else in the mean time.

I started saving in January 2010, sold both sets of my race tires, my rare 25th anniversary Crafter ML Rose acoustic guitar, my PLC controlled ceramics kiln, parted out a 1973 Honda SL350 motorcycle, sold off two vintage snowmobiles and an ultra-rare & fully restored Snojet cutter sleigh, and left my Trans Am parked on jackstands for four years. That's what I had to do in order to bring Tycho Aussie home in 2012.
I also took up martial arts, attended classes four times per week, and spent three days a week doing P90X in order to get strong enough to leap and jump and cartwheel. I also lost 28 pounds.
SO yes, you have to really want it.

Partly because when I bought my Yamaha WR500 motocross bike, I was so out of shape that after seven minutes of riding, I had to stop and nearly vomited in my own helmet. I wanted to ride that bike without killing myself. So there were multiple reasons for changing my lifestyle. I've fallen off the wagon over the past 18 months of grad school though, so I need to start over.
