Yeah, and I also wonder if maybe not many of the Jungle Cubs plush were made in the first place. The baby Bagheera is hard to find, too. I wouldn't mind one to to with Shere Khan, but I get the feeling he'd be outside the range I'd want to pay.

Just be persistent and you'll eventually get a Bagheera at a good price. I got mine for only $5 off eBay and that was maybe only about a year or so ago.

Haha, I guess that could be a problem. I was wondering what color they went with, since many of the grown-up Bagheera plush that I've seen seem to be gray rather than black. Maybe put him on a blanket or something outside on a sunny day? I know my little point-and-shoot camera struggles with photographing dark colors in lower/indoor light conditions and the flash introduces its own problems (makes the colors look 'off').

Yeah, he's pitch black so that's where the issues come in. I've contemplated the outdoor thing with him and might need to resort to that. We'll see.

Yeah, I've seen the baby Bagheera sell for $50 before. Mine wasn't nearly that much, though. I got lucky and found him for a great price. There is also a baby Baloo (sp?), a baby Kaa--the snake, and I believe a baby elephant (I've forgotten his name).

Thanks so much for linking me to photos of the others in the set! I'd love to have Baloo and Kaa--but Shere Khan most of all. I didn't save the photo of the baby Hathi, unfortunately. I saw it on eBay last year, but I completely forgot to save it, and it sold very quickly. :/

If you do find a photo of the baby Hathi, could you send me the link to it? I'm trying to make a folder on my computer with photos of the plushies that I am on the lookout for, so that I can refer to it from time to time to refresh my memory. I'd greatly appreciate it.

He is very cute, especially for a "villain".

From what I understand, this plush is pretty hard to find. I never realized this and he's been chilling on my shelf for years. The Kovu and Kiara are difficult to locate for a good price, too.

Naw, I don't think so, sorry. I still like him quite a lot. He's very unique and cute. You're right, they just don't make plush like this any more (Disney, at least).

I did an Ebay search for him, but no luck. Maybe you can create a saved Ebay search for 'shere khan plush'? There's an option you can check to have an automated e-mail sent to you whenever there is a new listing. It's how I caught a few hard-to-find things that don't come up on Ebay very often. Good luck
