I don't know if anyone else has seen this but while at Solstheim in the dragonborn DLC you can see this mage talking to himself like a lunatic and suddenly shoot himself way up into the air and fall back down and die. When that happened I just bailed and went back to Skyrim xD I already beat the main quest there anyways. Poor Serana with her daddy issues.Art and Voleur (c) ~TylerST

Flying wasn't the problem, it was the landing. I wonder if he was a descendent of Tarhiel, or someone who discovered his notes?
