Description
Darkness fills the room around me. Nothing could be seen straight ahead of me. No sound rippled off the walls. There I am by myself in this dark room. Panic began to consume me. As there was no one or nothing around me. There must be a way out. My focus soon finds a bright flowing of orange and yellow light eight feet away from me. It caught my attention, the darkness around the light flickered ever slightly.

Not wanting to wait in the darkness any longer, my body pushed forward towards the light. My eyes fixated on this beautiful orange and yellow light. Dancing around on the walls. Closer I go six feet away now. The light much closer than before. My eyes adjusting ever so slightly to the new light before me. A candle in the center of the table. Where did it come from? For I did not know. I still wanted to get closer to this light and escape out of this darkness.

Moving with a brisk pace I was 4 feet away from the candle. It flickered, swirling around, calling me closer. My body and mind listened to this calling. Just in arms reach I was with this candle. The darkness around me was just a simple dark gray mixed with the orange and yellow light. I could feel the heat began to radiate infront of me from this candle. Comforting, mystifying, and ever so beautiful. My gaze wouldn't move away.

My gaze just kept looking. Longing to grab this candle and take it with me, though I knew I shouldn't. It was better to stay and watch this dancing beauty. Days, weeks, months, and years. I would stare at this candle for ages feeling relaxed and comfortable. It was better to stay here than return to the darkness.
